The BNO055 combines a wide range of sensors, including 3-axis 12-bit accelerometers, 3-axis geomagnetic sensors and 3-axis 16-bit gyroscopes, with built-in 32-bit MCUs to handle software operations between various sensors. Single data of three types of sensors (acceleration/geomagnetic/gyro) can be provided separately, and combined data can be provided. Through the built-in MCU calculation, more application support can be provided for products such as smart phones and wearable devices.
